Australia has become the late country to ban government officials from using software made by Russian cybersecurity house Kaspersky , reason that the software poses an “ unacceptable security measures risk . ”
Australia ’s Department of Home Affairs last weekissued a directivethat nix government agencies from installing Kaspersky products or web services on official systems and devices , citing national security risks . government activity agency have until April 1 to take out all subsist instances of Kaspersky software on governance organization and devices .

The move see Australia become the latest member of the Five Eyes news pact of countries to declare restrictions on Kaspersky software , joining Canada , the United Kingdom , and the United States .
