Today , longtime Founders Fund partner Brian Singermanannounced on Xthat he would be read a gradation back . He will be transitioning from partner to partner emeritus to get a better “ work - life balance , ” although he will go along to serve as an “ investor and strategic consultant ” for the house .
Singerman has been at Founders Fund for over 16 years . In his goodbye post , he spell that he was appeal to the business firm , which was launched by Peter Thiel in 2005 , because it was consider a “ literal moonshot ” investment in SpaceX. Singerman went on to enthrone in companies like fintech Affirm , and health insurance company Oscar Health , both of which went public .
Singerman is n’t the only partner to step back from the firm this class . In January , Keith Rabois leave Founders Fund to join Khosla Ventures .
