Elon Musk ’s Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE ) plan tohost a hackathon next weekfocused on the creation of a “ mega API ” that will ply access code to taxpayer data point , harmonize to Wired .
Wired says the hackathon is being coordinate by two DOGE staffers at the Internal Revenue Service — Gavin Kliger and Sam Corcos , who ’s also CEO at healthtech startup Levels . Corcos has reportedly been telling others at DOGE that his finish is to ramp up “ one Modern API to rule them all . ”
This would make it easy for cloud provider to get at IRS data point , include taxpayer name , address , social security numbers , taxation return , and employ information , which could all be export to international systems . According to Wired , a third - company seller would deal parting of the undertaking , with Palantir “ systematically ” brought up as a prospect .
