U.S. prosecutors have formally linked the arrest of a serving U.S. Army soldier in December to a massive stealing of U.S. phone records from AT&T and Verizon last year .

In a raw court of law filing on Friday , U.S. prosecutors corroborate that the charges against Wagenius are relate to the earlier indictment of two alleged hacker , Connor Moucka and John Binns , who the U.S. government accused ofmultiple intrusions at cloud computing fellowship Snowflakethat saw the mass theft of data stored in its client accounts . The Snowflake customer whose data was stolen let in AT&T , which had “ intimately all ” of its client call records through 2024 exfiltrated from its Snowflake score , and Verizon , from whom a substantial cache of customer call logs was take .
