The Adelaide , Australia - based startup raise the unexampled funding to speed up the development of ExoSphere , a platform to enable actual - prison term mineral prospecting from space . The troupe currently has two satellite in low Earth orbit that connect to primer sensor ; using artificial intelligence , the sensing element and satellite data can generate predictive sixth sense and drill targeting for prospector .

Fleet is also sending a payload to the moon onboard Firefly Aerospace ’s lunar lander in 2026 . That sensor will capture seismic data from the lunar surface that will help investigator substantially translate the subsurface of the synodic month and its mineral properties .

The new round , which values the ship’s company at $ 525 million ,   was led by Teachers ’ Venture Growth ( TVG ) , the investing arm of Ontario Teachers ’ Pension Plan , and joined by existing investor Blackbird Ventures , Hostplus , Horizons Ventures , Artesian Venture Partners , and Alumni Ventures . The company has more than double its rating since its Series C round last yr .
