The company is planning on launch a substantiation of concept satellite called “ Mr. Spoc , ” though Graumann decline to specify whether Nuview had booked a fast launching date for that demo mission . Once the tech is prove out in space , Nuview ’s plan is to launch the configuration in tranches of five every 12 - 18 calendar month , which leaves time to iterate on the technology . The company could even adapt succeeding satellites if there are dissimilar resolution or spectral requirements in the lidar being used , Graumann said .
