Google enunciate that it is launching a new Android - based XR platform on Thursday to accommodate AI features . The company enjoin the platform , call Android XR , will support app maturation on different devices , include headsets and glasses .
The troupe is releasing Android XR ’s first developer preview on Thursday , which already back existing tools , including ARCore , Android Studio , Jetpack Compose , Unity , and OpenXR .

The troupe noted that Android XR will first set up with the Samsung - built Project Moohan headset , which will be available for purchase next year .
