Last April , Elon Musk , the billionaire possessor of X , teaseda mysterious “ Unhinged manner ” for X ’s AI - power chatbot , Grok . closely a year later , xAI , the Musk - owned company behind Grok , hasupdated an FAQ pageon its website that sheds light on the fresh mode .
Grok in Unhinged Mode will provide responses “ intended to be objectionable , unfitting , and loathsome , ” allot to the FAQ page — “ much like an unskilled stand - up comic who is still learning the craft . ”
The modality does n’t come along to be live yet . TechCrunch tried in vain to find it in the Grok WWW interface on X.
Unhinged Mode may be Musk ’s effort to render on Grok ’s original vision .

Musk and many of his allies , let in President - elect Donald Trump ’s crypto and AI “ czar , ” David Sacks , have accused AI chatbots ofcensoring conservative stand .
