Michigan - ground McLaren Health Care has confirmed that the raw personal and wellness information of 2.2 million patient was compromised during a cyberattack before this year . A ransomware gang later took course credit for the cyberattack .

Ina unexampled data breach noticefiled with Maine ’s lawyer general , McLaren said hackers were in its arrangement for three weeks during July 28 through August 23 before the healthcare company detect a week later on on August 31 .
