India is walk back on arecent AI advisoryafter receiving criticism from many local and global entrepreneurs and investors .

The Ministry of Electronics and IT share an updated AI advisory with industry stakeholders on Friday that no longer asked them to take the government activity blessing before launch or deploy an AI model to users in the South Asian market .

Under the revised guidelines , firm are instead advised to label under - tested and unreliable AI models to inform drug user of their potential fallibility or unreliableness .

The revision watch India ’s IT ministry receiving severe literary criticism earlier this calendar month from many high-pitched - visibility individuals . Martin Casado , a married person at venture firm Andreessen Horowitz , had called India ’s move “ a farce . ”
