The International Criminal Court ( ICC ) , the world ’s only permanent outside court with a mandate to look into and prosecute genocide , crime against humankind and warfare crimes , has determined that a September cyberattack against its scheme was assay espionage .

The court , headquartered in The Hague , Netherlands , confirmedlast month that hacker had penetrate its web . In anupdateposted Friday , the ICC aver it had since specify that this incident was a “ targeted and sophisticated plan of attack ” with the “ objective of espionage . ”
