London - based internet right monitoring group NetBlocks hasreporteda major internet flutter in Kenya follow a wave of demonstrations across the land , as law violently crack down on citizens taking to the street to protest a government bill to hike up tax despite tough economical times and far-flung putrefaction .

The authority in the affirmation state it “ had no intention whatsoever to shut out down internet traffic or interfere with the timber of connectivity . Such natural action would be a betrayal of the constitution as a whole , the exemption of expression in particular and our own ethos . ”
Users have been reporting fitful or slow internet connexion , with NetBlocks confirming the outage also affected neighboring countries Uganda and Burundi .
