Russian cybersecurity giant star Kaspersky is shut down its office in the United Kingdom and laying off its staff , just three months after the companystarted close down its U.S. operationsand lay off oodles of workers , TechCrunch has learned .

Kaspersky voice Francesco Tius said in an email to TechCrunch that the ship’s company “ will commence a current of air - down of the U.K. place operations , reorienting its business in the commonwealth toward the spouse channel . ”

“ This step will enable our company to harness available byplay opportunities in the U.K. securities industry in a more efficient personal manner , strengthen overall concern prosperity . Our client and partners in the U.K. will maintain full access to the company ’s European team and its warm and well - prove partner internet , through which we will continue distributing Kaspersky´s diligence - leading cybersecurity products and services , ” the affirmation carry on .
