Shared micromobility caller Lime has reached an arrangement to charge batteries used in its scooter and e - bikes to Redwood Materials , which will extract and recycle critical minerals such as lithium , cobalt , nickel note , and cop .
The agreement denote Monday makesRedwood Materialsthe single battery recycling spouse for Lime ’s shared scooters and e - bikes situate in city throughout the United States , Germany , and the Netherlands .
