It seems Lyft is hoping to catch up to Uber’sstring of autonomous fomite partnerships .
Lyft announce Wednesday three disjoined partnership — with startup May Mobility , automate driving troupe Mobileye , and smart dashcam house Nexar — all aimed at establish a bridgehead in the emerge autonomous fomite market place .
In the annunciation , the ride - hailing company said it sign a deal with May Mobility to establish self-directed vehicles on the Lyft app starting in Atlanta in 2025 . Lyft also announce a partnership with Intel - possess Mobileye that will reserve certain AV tech - equipped vehicle to bug into the drive - hailing app as well as a datum - share agreement with Nexar that ’s designed to give OEMs and operators undecomposed insights to check autonomous driving systems .
