Safe Superintelligence ( SSI ) , the AI inauguration lead by OpenAI ’s atomic number 27 - founder and former chief scientist Ilya Sutskever , has raised an extra $ 2 billion in funding at a $ 32 billion valuation , concord to the Financial Times .

The startup had alreadyraised $ 1 billion , and there were story thatan additional $ 1 billion roundwas in the works . SSI did not comment on the new support , which was reportedly top by Greenoaks .

Sutskeverleft OpenAI in May 2024after he come out to take on a role inan at last failed attempt to drum out CEO Sam Altman . Hefounded SSIwith Daniel Gross and Daniel Levy , and they said the party had “ one finish and one product : a safe superintelligence . ”
