PerplexityCEO Aravind Srinivas recently took to Reddit toaddress user ’ ware complaints and assure themthat the company is not under serious financial pressure .
Srinivas seemed to be responding , in part , toa drug user theorythat the caller is “ doing horribly financially ” and “ make lots of changes to cut price . ” As an example , the idealogue orient to Perplexity ’s Auto style , where the AI search engine automatically take the model with which to answer a user ’s prompting .
On the reverse , Srinivas sound out Perplexity created Auto mode because “ all AI ware right now are send non - hold on and adding a gross ton of buttons and dropdown menus and mare’s nest , ” which he say is “ not sustainable . ”
