Warner recount the audience at theHumanX AI conferencein Las Vegas on Monday that he thinks intelligence is the most important commodity in the world — on par with electricity — and anyone who does n’t believe this should not be building a foundation model .

“ If you ’re one of those people , if you want to take one side of the fence , you ’re a printing press for cash unlike anything we ’ve ever seen in the world , ” Warner say . “ Or if the other side of the fence , you ’re fundamentally changing and bending the arc of humankind in a path that we ’ve not done before . And I believe that to be reliable . ”

Warner added that his company is “ literally ” pass after AGI through package . If someone look at foundational models as more of a “ nice to have ” as a style to raise VC cash , the company should just build a wrapper on an live foundational example instead , he added .

With all that being say , however , Warner say he thinks that companies building instauration models ca n’t just have a foundation model as their Cartesian product . or else , that should be a part of their product — especially as the landscape get more competitive .

“ In my scene , if I ’m go to go build this type of business , I ’m building on one side , going after intelligence on compute , I postulate to go after the laborious environment , ” Warner said . “ You ca n’t do simple on one side and firmly on the other . It does n’t really make common sense , because if you ’re move to go for everything , go for everything . ”

He sum up that this is why Poolide is become after tough line of business like defense and working with the government activity . But Warner said the companionship plans to launch a consumer program at some stop , too .
