OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Jeff Bezos ’ Amazon plan to donate $ 1 million each to President - elect Donald Trump ’s initiatory fund , harmonize to report fromFoxand TheWall Street Journal .

And while Altman has no known gripe with Trump , the OpenAI founder is in the center of a legal battle with Elon Musk , another close Trump friend , overOpenAI ’s attempts to transitionto a for - profit ship’s company .
