Snapchat is quietly flap out a new “ Footsteps ” feature to all iOS users this week , the ship’s company sustain to TechCrunch on Monday . The new feature , which was previously only uncommitted to Snapchat+ endorser , habituate Snap Map to let you see how much of the populace you ’ve explore and tail where you ’ve traveled to .
The first time you practice Footsteps , your first steps will be base on Snaps in your Memories , which means that your past misstep still count . After that , Snapchat wo n’t use any more retentivity to bring to your Footsteps , and will instead track your travels using location data .

Your Footsteps are only visible to you , and you could turn the feature off or clear your Footsteps data by belong into your Profile and tapping the “ preferences ” button . Next , you need to scroll down to the “ Account Actions ” plane section and tap “ Map . ” Then , toggle off “ Save new Footsteps as my location update on the map ” to turn off Footsteps . To clear your Footsteps data , tap “ Clear Footsteps History . ”
