Snap has enter into an expand partnership with Google Cloud to power reproductive AI experience within Snapchat ’s My AI chatbot . The chatbot will leverage the multimodal capability of Google ’s Gemini AI to activate the chatbot to see unlike types of info , like text , audio recording , images , and videos .

Gemini is powering theGoogle Lens - similar featuresthat Snapchat announced at its yearly Snap Partner Summit last week . For illustration , users can ask Snap ’s My AI to translate a pic of a street planetary house in a strange country or ask the chatbot to pick out the healthiest choice on a menu .

Snap first launch My AI back in February 2023 . At launch , the chatbot was powered by OpenAI ’s ChatGPT . Now , the company is tapping Google ’s procreative AI models to allow the chatbot also to process icon , videos , and text .
