Snapchat is bringing enhanced location sharing toFamily Center , its maternal controls hub , the company announced Thursday .

user have been able to share their localisation with others on Snapchat for quite some time now , but the new improver allows parent to get an alert from within the app ’s Family Center when their teen departs from or arrives at designated locations — for example , from school . Before , parents had to find their teenager on Snap Map or go to their profile to see where they were ; this new capability make it easier for parents to keep caterpillar track as they can see their child ’s location directly within Family Center .
