President Trump ’s family has been weighing an investment in Binance . US , concord to areportfrom the Wall Street Journal . The investiture would issue forth just a distich of years after Binance ’s U.S. armpleaded guiltyto violating anti - money laundering regulating .

Zhao is currently the 24th richest person in the world , accord toForbes ’ ranking . The WSJ claims he ’s been pushing for a pardon from the Trump governing body .
Zhao ’s condemnation has made it difficult for Binance to obtain commercial partners in the U.S. or apply for crypto licenses in Europe . “ I have had no discussions of a Binance U.S. pile with … well , anyone , ” Zhaosaidin a post on X refuting the WSJ ’s reporting .
But if treatment between Binance and spokesperson of the Trump family line are indeed taking spot , it seems to boil down to a simple question : What ’s the economic value of a presidential pardon ?
