Truth Social , the social media platform owned by Donald Trump ’s media company , has announced plans to launch a live TV streaming platform . The chopine will focus on “ news networks ” and “ spiritual channels , ” along with “ other content that has been call off , is at risk of cancellation , or is being suppressed on other platforms and services , ” consort to a public press release . The service will also boast “ family - favorable ” content , including film and documentary .
The streaming service will plunge in three phases . The company first design to introduce Truth Social ’s CDN ( content delivery mesh ) for streaming to the Truth Social app for Android , iOS and the vane . Next , Truth Social plans to free over - the - top ( “ OTT ” ) streaming apps for earpiece , pad of paper and other gimmick . The last phase of the rollout regard the launching of a stream app for TVs .
The Trump Media & Technology Group ( TMTG ) says it has tested the streaming service on its web and Io platforms for six month and has “ fetch up the research and development form . ”
