Uber is not done snatch up up autonomous vehicle partnerships .
The ride - hail and delivery titan on Thursday announced a multi - year deal with Yandex spinout Avride to bring the company ’s pavement delivery robots and autonomous vehicle to both Uber Eats and Uber .
It ’s the latest in a series of trade from Uber over the last two months as the company place to position itself as the ideal cooperator for Ab troupe look to commercialise .
Avrideis one of four projects under parent caller Nebius Group , which is the newfangled name for Yandex NV , the Netherlands - found company thatsold off its Russian businessearlier this year after Russia ’s 2022 intrusion of Ukraine .
