Ukraine ’s elderly cabinet official Taras Melnychuk announced the firingsin a public post on Telegramlast week . The two functionary are Yurii Shchyhol , school principal of Ukraine ’s State Special Communications Service of Ukraine , or SSSCIP , and his surrogate Victor Zhora , who had become a basic at international conferences as the public aspect of Ukraine ’s cybersecurity defender .

On Monday , the High Anti - Corruption Court in Ukraineannounced in a press releasethat a judge had set up the hold of Zhora as a preventative measure , and that he had been take into custody , according to a automobile translation .

The press release read that the custody will last until January 22 , 2024 , and impose a bail of 10,000,584 Ukrainian hryvnia , roughly $ 275,000 .
