The United Nations ’ aviation agency has corroborate that a hack accessed thousands of records after compromise its internal enlisting database .

Over the weekend , an individual using the alias “ Natohub ” claim to have accessed 42,000 document from the International Civil Aviation Organization ( ICAO).The agency said it was investigating the incident on Mondayand , in an updated statement sent to TechCrunch on Tuesday , it confirmed Natohub ’s claims .

“ ICAO can substantiate that the reported data security incident involves more or less 42,000 recruitment practical software data point records from April 2016 to July 2024 claimed to be free by the terror worker known as Natohub , ” it suppose .

ICAO said that the compromised data include information admit job applicant ’   names , email speech , escort of birth , and employment history . “ The touched data does not include financial information , parole , passport particular , or any documents uploaded by applier , ” the agency added .

ICAO tell the break is “ limited ” to the enlisting database and that it is working to describe and notify dissemble somebody .
