If anyone can make EV charging workplace , it may be Buc - ee ’s .

Maybe you ’ve heard of the convenience store chain , but if you hold out outside the Southern U.S. , chances are you have n’t have one . And they are an experience . Buc - ee ’s entrepot are revered throughout Texas for the cleanliness of their public toilet , the breadth and scale of their food offerings , and the comically large number of pumps at most placement .

With the transition to electric vehicles afoot , companies like Buc - ee ’s have a pile to lose . While the mass of the company ’s net income come in from the offerings inside the stores , the real draw is bum and plentiful gasoline . When demand for that drop , Buc - ee ’s and supersize convenience store will find themselves vie against market stores , hypermarket and stand - alone car washes . Buc - ee ’s might be large , but each category already has a wealth of competitors . Part of Buc - ee ’s gaud is the fact that you could get all that , at a throttle station .
